ITINERARY
Day 1: The adventure officially begins at Arrivals of the Exuma International Airport (GGT) where you will meet your Northwest Passage guides and transfer to the evening’s accommodations in the settlement of Rolleville. We’ll gather for a welcome reception and discuss the week’s itinerary before enjoying our first outstanding dinner in the Exumas. (D)
Day 2: The paddling journey begins this morning in Barre Terre where you will refine your paddling and rescue techniques with your guides before heading east toward Exuma Point. After reaching Exuma Point, you’ll paddle to a near-shore cay where you can observe some of the Exumas’ most famous residents, the famous swimming pigs. After returning to Great Exuma, the late afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy before dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 3: After breakfast you continue your paddling journey along the east coast of Great Exuma toward a lovely beach near Roker’s Point. Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous, soft sand Cocoplum beach. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Today you round Roker’s Point and kayak past the Three Sisters rocks en route to the outskirts of Georgetown and the fabulous Jolly Hall Beach. In the evening you’ll have the opportunity to visit the festive Fish Fry village. (B, L, D)
Day 5: You can opt to rest your paddling muscles today and enjoy some relaxation on the beach, or paddle across Elizabeth Harbor to Stocking Island. Stocking Island has a plethora of stunning remote beaches and is home to the famous Chat n Chill grill where you can get up close and personal with docile sting rays. For those wanting more activity, paddle a bit further along the shoreline and stroll along a short sandy trail with stunning panoramic views. (B, L)
Day 6: Today’s kayaking route takes you past Georgetown and around the shoreline of Crab Cay. Keep your eyes out for sea turtles that frequent the protected shallow waters. You’ll wrap up your paddling day near the serene Man-O-War Cay and surrounding sandbars. (B, L, D)
Day 7: On the last paddling day of the adventure you’ll glide along the shores of the Moriah Harbor Cay National Park and soak up some relaxing rays on Lazy River Beach. In the evening you’ll savor your last Bahamian sundown and a celebration dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 8: After breakfast your guides will assist with transfers to the airport and bid you a fond farewell. (B)

Our Belize kayak and camping trip was not what anyone expected due to unseasonably windy, rainy and cool weather. But we had a grand adventure nonetheless! How many times in your life do you get a chance to help a Belizean captain right and bail his swamped boat? Learn the ebb and flow of life on a tiny uninhabited Caribbean island? See a tiger ray leaping from the water trying to shake off the eel attached to its middle? Backpedal furiously to avoid a collision with a huge loggerhead turtle swimming your way as you snorkel? Eat comforting conch stew at a picnic table, the taste heightened by the sweetness of plantains and sharpness of the ubiquitous Marie Sharp's hot sauce? We experienced all that and much more with our small group this February. Our guide and fearless leader CP was perpetually cheerful and accommodating even as we confronted multiple days of high seas after landing on Moho Caye. He gave us opportunities to kayak whenever conditions permitted but also kept us safe. The local support team of Ian and his son Shane were steady and resourceful even under adverse circumstances. In addition to providing information, guidance and motor transport when needed, they fed us well, including platters of fresh fruit and hot fry jacks cooked in a primitive outdoor kitchen. This was our fourth trip with Northwest Passage, and we are on the lookout for our next one. As always, the company and its excellent staff provided a personalized, unique and fun adventure trip. My son and I had a fabulous time. Crystal clear water for paddling and swimming. Great scenery. Clean, comfortable accommodations. Wonderful professional, competent, helpful, friendly and enthusiastic guides Chris and Sean. I'd do it again in a heartbeat but I think next time I'll try a different trip.

Our family of 5 had an amazing time exploring the Apostle Islands with our guides. Our kids had a blast and will never forget this trip. We felt safe and prepared for the adventure. And to top it all off the food was terrific! One of our family members requires a gluten free diet and they were able to accommodate that with no issues. Thank you, Chris and Ted and Northwest Passage, we could not have asked for a better family trip!
